American University of The Middle East

The American University of the Middle East (AUM) campus is a world of its own. Situated in Egaila, its sprawling, ultra-modern grounds create a distinct 'bubble' that separates students from the hustle of the city. The vibe is energetic, social, and decidedly youthful. You'll find a diverse student body, primarily from Kuwait and the surrounding MENA region, creating a multicultural yet regionally-focused atmosphere. Fashion and social status can be prominent, but beneath the surface lies a strong current of ambition and a desire to connect. Campus culture is heavily driven by extracurriculars. AUM heavily promotes its clubs and sports teams, and participation is key to finding your niche. Without it, the large campus can feel a bit impersonal. The university fosters a 'work hard, play hard' mentality, with students balancing demanding coursework with a packed social calendar. Key events that define the AUM experience include:

• Annual Sports Festival: A major event that showcases AUM's impressive athletic facilities and fosters a strong sense of school spirit.

• Cultural Days: Celebrations of the diverse nationalities on campus, featuring food, music, and traditional attire.

• Club-hosted events: From tech talks and business competitions to art exhibitions and charity drives, the student clubs ensure there's always something happening.
