Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) is a national key university directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and the only university in China with a focus on cultivating senior engineering, technical, and management personnel for the civil aviation industry. Founded in 1951 as the Military Aviation School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the university has undergone several developments and name changes, and is now a comprehensive university with coordinated development across engineering, management, science, economics, literature, and law. It has supplied a large number of outstanding talents to the civil aviation industry in China and globally, and is known as the "cradle of Chinese civil aviation talent." The university is committed to serving the national civil aviation strategic needs and possesses significant disciplinary advantages and research strengths in areas such as aviation safety, air traffic management, aircraft airworthiness and maintenance, and airport operation and management. The university is at the forefront in China in core professional fields such as aircraft power engineering, transportation (air traffic management), and electronic information engineering (avionics). CAUC has multiple national and provincial-level key laboratories and engineering research centers, actively undertaking major national and industry research projects, and playing a vital role in aviation technology innovation and industrial development. The university emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, possessing advanced teaching and research facilities such as flight simulators, aero-engine laboratories, and aerospace materials laboratories. This provides students with an excellent practical learning environment, ensuring graduates acquire solid professional skills and the ability to solve real-world problems. Located in Tianjin, the Civil Aviation University of China boasts a beautiful campus and comprehensive facilities, offering students excellent learning and living conditions. The university actively engages in international exchange and cooperation, establishing close partnerships with aviation institutions and enterprises in many countries, providing students with a broad international perspective and development platform. Graduates enjoy a high employment rate and are highly sought after by the civil aviation system and related enterprises, with promising career prospects. However, due to its highly specialized nature, students need to clearly define their career development direction when choosing a major. Furthermore, as a key university, academic requirements are rigorous, demanding high levels of learning ability and resilience from students.
