Jining University

Jining University, located in Jining City, Shandong Province—a historical and cultural city and the hometown of Confucius and Mencius—is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor can be traced back to Jining Teachers' College, established in 1978. In 2007, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution and renamed Jining University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
