Shangqiu Normal University

Shangqiu Normal University is located in Shangqiu City, a famous historical and cultural city in eastern Henan Province, China. It is a comprehensive undergraduate university sponsored by the Henan Provincial People's Government. Its predecessor can be traced back to the "Guide Prefecture Middle School Teacher Training Class" founded in 1905. After a century of development, it was formed in 2000 with the approval of the Ministry of Education through the merger of Shangqiu Normal College and Shangqiu Education Institute.
