Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) is a leading public university in Baku, Azerbaijan, established in 1973 as an independent institution specializing in language education. With roots tracing back to 1937 when the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute opened its School of Foreign Languages, AUL has evolved to become the country's premier institution for linguistics, journalism, regional studies, and international relations. The university serves approximately 4,000 undergraduate and 900 graduate students with a faculty of over 700 teachers.
